The Death of the Rolodex: Why I Built Basin OS

I spent the last 15 years in Enterprise Sales at companies like Google, Fudo Security, and SurveyMonkey.
I was trained on the “Old Playbook”:
- Hire a VP of Sales ($250k).
- Buy a “verified” lead list (that is 40% bounce rate).
- Hire SDRs to smash the phone.
- Pray for a meeting.
It works, until it doesn’t.
At Fudo Security, I didn’t just manage the territory; I had to re-architect it.
I stopped treating sales like a numbers game and started treating it like an engineering problem.
The result? A 160% increase in pipeline coverage.
But the tools I needed to do that consistently didn’t exist.
Salesforce is a database, not a signal processor.
Apollo is a directory, not a sniper rifle.
Enter Basin OS.

I am not a developer by trade.
I am a Revenue Architect by necessity.
I realized that to fix the “revenue leaks” at the top of the funnel, I needed to build my own infrastructure.
I am teching myself Python and Streamlit to build two core tools:
- GTM Signal Architect: A scoring engine that ignores “Revenue” (noise) and looks for “Friction” (signal).
- Lead Script Generator: An LLM-wrapper that writes “Engineer-to-Engineer” emails, bypassing the marketing fluff that CTOs delete immediately.
Today, I am open-sourcing this infrastructure.
We are entering the era of Systems > Hires.
Founders don’t need another Rolodex. They need a predictable data supply chain.
